Traffic Modelling Based on Cellular Automata
Hodaňová, Andrea ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
Among many other fields of science, cellular automata play an important role also in the microsimulations of traffic. In this thesis, we analyze the characteristics of a wide range of cellular automata traffic models from the most simple deterministic ones to complex stochastic automata derived from the pivotal Nagel-Schreckenberg model, which is thoroughly described. As a result of this analysis, a generally usable traffic simulator is designed and implemented in the Java programming language. Its graphical user interface can visualise the state of a road CA to display the key features of the implemented traffic models to the user.
Realistic Roundabouts Simulator
Molnár, Miroslav ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
Constant increase of the road traffic brings some new problems. Finding solutions requires an exploration of road transportation. The aim of this work is to design and develop the microscopic simulator based on the cellular automaton for simulating roundabouts. Such simulator allows to create different types of roundabouts that can be connected to each other by roads. Within the simulator, there is possibility to change different parameters, e.g. value of the visibility, the sliding friction, the maximum speed and the adherence to a safe distance on the road. At the end of this work there are the results of the simulations in the different traffic situations summarized.
Modeling of Traffic Flow
Zemanová, Hana ; Brandner, Marek (referee) ; Franců, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis presents an overview of the most common mathematical models of trac ow of vehicles on silgle lane. It deals with both microscopic and macroscopic models. It studies their properties and dierences.
Traffic Model
Bilan, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This Master thesis was created as research for project GA 102/09/1897 Security in car traffic - BAD, which is i.a. considers testing of continuousness of traffic with dynamically updated navigation. Main goal of project is simulator of traffic infrastructure creation. Simulators are two. One of them evaluate trafiic flow on bigger network of roads and crossroads. Second one simulate behaviour of cars during passage of crossroads. In this project is as well parsed theory of traffic activity and mentioned theoretical principles on which are built both simulators.
GUI for Microscopic Traffic Simulation
Fülöp, Tibor ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
Nowadays the road traffic is more complex and number of vehicles increases. The goal of this thesis is to develop microscopic traffic simulator with graphical user interface which it is possible to experiment with. The simulator can be used to construction of road topology with multiple lane roads and crossroads. It supports creating uncontrolled crossroads, crossroads with main road or crossroad with traffic lights. It generates and shows macroscopic data during simulation. It is based on cellular automaton and model is inspired by Nagel-Schreckenberg traffic model. There are results of simulating simple traffic simulations in the thesis.
Model of Intelligent Traffic Control
Lankaš, Ondřej ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement traffic model with use of appropriate software tools. Part of the thesis is also design of three types of traffic control that are used the most. Designed model is basis for determining the most optimum type of traffic control with use of simulations.
